Turning on the LED Display Board
The guys here are getting’ pretty lit up about a new accessory that should really innovate the way you shed light on your portable displays.
This has designed its very own Led display board, which will fit on its Banner Stands and PopUp Displays. For anyone not in the know, LED means light-emitting diode, and it’s a kind of light that never gets hot, rarely burns out, and has a lifespan of up to 100,000 hours. LEDs also use a lot less energy than standard light bulbs and halogen lights, but still cast a warm, natural light, so you get a nice shine on your display.
Though it’s still being developed, the goal is to introduce the new light at Exhibitor 2019 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. PosterGarden will be exhibiting there in booth no. 749 between March 23 and 25. Stop by and check it out.
Melissa Haney is one of two project managers at cater source this week, and I asked her to keep her eyes open for anything intriguing or helpful or eye-catching while she was there. She’s been sending photos, along with a few comments. Here’s what Melisssa is reporting from cater source so far: For starters, on the way to Las Vegas, not even outside Portland yet, Melissa spotted one of PosterGarden’s Eclipse Retractable Banner Stands headed for the show. This shot is a perfect illustration of how easy it is to transport displays. It’s just a piece of carry-on luggage here!Granted, this may not be their entire display, but that one little carrying case holds the banner stand and graphics, so it’s really all you need to get started.
At the show, Melissa and another Project Manager, Laura Duffey, have spotted a few other portable displays, including these Endeavor Retractable Banner Stands:Melissa also said the crowd was pretty interested in portable displays — the banner stands, Fabric Counter, Event Tent, and more. Many were excited to find out that graphics on the displays can all be custom printed on a range of different media, including earth-friendly EcoWeave and EcoKnit fabrics.
Finally, Melissa says seeing out and about has helped people remember that now is the time to get their portable display projects started.
“We have met quite a few people that remember us from other shows, or have been meaning to call about getting their projects started,” she says. “And seeing us again put that in the forefront of their minds, so that’s always a good thing.”
